At Doctor Valve I offer my clients superb craftsmanship,
attention to detail, and prompt service. Once an appointment for
your horn is scheduled, typical turnaround time for
a trumpet valve job
is 5 to 8 weeks, turnaround for an instrument overhaul or restoration
is 6 to 12 weeks, depending on
condition and whether parts need to be made or special ordered.
A trumpet, cornet, or flugelhorn valve alignment usually takes 1-2 weeks.
Simple or emergency trumpet repair tasks can often be
done "same day" with a scheduled appointment.
Local Chicagoland clients are welcome to make an appointment to bring their horns
to the shop. Clients
from other locales should see the safe trumpet shipping page for
details on packing a horn for safe shipping.
Fully insured USPS Express or Priority Mail, or UPS or FedEx Second Day are the recommended
methods for delivery.
